Why Wooden Wicks?

So why do we exclusively use wooden wicks in our candles? The answers are simple: 

1. CRACKLING - Wooden wicks product a soothing and subtle crackling sound reminiscent of a cozy campfire. This adds an extra layer of ambiance and relaxation to your candle experience. Not only can you see and smell a beautiful product, but hear it as well. A true sensory experience.
2. BURN TIME - Wooden wicks have a slower and more controlled burn rate compared to cotton wicks. This means that your candle will last longer. In conjunction with the high quality wooden wick, when this is paired with our high- end coconut apricot wax, your benefits are extended even further; as coconut apricot wax has the longest burn time of any other wax on the market.
3. SCENT THROW - The wider flame produced by wooden wicks help to release fragrance oils more evenly and efficiently. As a result, candles with wooden wicks have a stronger and more pronounced scent throw; filling any room with ease. Another added benefit from us creating with luxury wax is that fact that both hot and cold throws are far superior to any other wax as well.
4. NO SOOTING or MUSHROOMING - Soot is never an issue here as long as you're taking care of the wick with each burn; ie* trimming the wick / pinching the black off the wick before each use. Wooden wicks naturally emit no black smoke. You'll also never get "mushrooming" like you would with a traditional cotton wick from excess buildup of carbon. Honestly, there is nothing more unattractive than that - so we have even more reason to swoon over our beautiful wooden wick candles!
